The US Masters 2009 is finally over and what an advert for the game of golf. The 3 way playoff with Angel Cabrera, Kenny Perry and Chad Campbell was the icing on the cake.

There was some excellent play in all of the rounds, but the final round showe us just how good today’s golfers really are. Tiger woods played soe excellent golf but it was not to be. Phil Mickelson seemed to be on a run to take the green jacket until he missed some short putts that ended his challenge.

So Angel Cabrera is the US Masters Champion for 2009. The amount of great golf played this year goes to show wtha the US masters is possibly the best golf tournament in the golfing calendar.
